International Recognition for Suite del Domingo

Suite del Domingo, Op. 17, Enea Cavallo’s work for harp duo, has received an Honourable Mention at the Classic Pure Vienna Contemporary Composition Competition 2026.

Written for two harps, Suite del Domingo is among Cavallo’s recent chamber works and has already been presented in concert in Germany. The recognition in Vienna marks another important step in the work’s journey and in Cavallo’s growing activity as a composer.

The Honourable Mention was awarded by the competition’s international jury as part of its 2026 edition dedicated to contemporary composition.

World Premiere of "Quintetto op. 18" for Harp and String Quartet

Join us for the world premiere of my Quintetto for String Quartet and Harp op. 18! I will have the pleasure of performing the harp part myself, alongside string players from the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker, as part of the 4th Chamber Concert titled "Das Individuum. Schicksal – Begegnung – Stille". The program also features masterpieces by Shostakovich and Beethoven.

World Premiere of "The City of the Gods op. 22" with Niederrheinische Sinfoniker

I am thrilled to announce the world premiere of my new piece, The City of the Gods op. 22 for brass trio (trumpet, horn, and trombone). The composition will be premiered during the 3rd Chamber Concert of the 2026/27 season ("Zupfen, streichen, pusten") by the musicians of the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker.
